An old, atmospheric farmhouse on the shores of Lake Saimaa, converted into a cottage, 67 m2, 1 bedroom, sleeps 4, electricity, fireplace, outdoor toilet, terrace, campfire place/grill, boat etc.
Sivula is an old log farmhouse that was converted into a cottage in 1981. It is located in its own peace on the shores of Lake Saimaa.
Sivula has 67 m2 and can comfortably accommodate four people. In addition to a large, traditional, atmospheric living room and kitchen, the cottage has a separate bedroom and a wood-heated sauna. The outdoor toilet is at the end of the yard. The cottage is electrified.
In the living room and kitchen, you can relax by the fire while watching TV. The living room has a bed for two and more sleeping places can be found in the bedroom, which has a wide bunk bed.
The kitchen has, for example, an electric stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle and microwave.
The yard of the cottage is flat and child-friendly. There is a campfire/grill and a boat on the shore.
We can arrange an internet connection for the cottage free of charge.
There is no running water in the cottage, but a canister of clean drinking water is ready when you arrive at the cottage. Additional drinking water is available from a nearby water point.
The cottage is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 12:00 PM on the day of departure.
Any possibility of bringing a hot tub, etc. to the cottage must always be agreed upon separately.
Note: We do not rent Sivula in winter. The rental period is from the beginning of May to the end of October, weather permitting, the booking calendar can be opened earlier or closed later.
The cottage is located on the shore of Lake Saimaa in truly stunning scenery, in its own peace. There are good berry and mushroom fields around. In the summer you can enjoy delicious local food in a restaurant just over two kilometers away.
If you wish, we can arrange Wi-Fi, a high chair and a travel cot for the cottage free of charge. For rent: ELECTRIC OUTBOARD MOTOR 15 €/day OUTBOARD MOTOR WITH COMBUSTION ENGINE 40 €/day, following days 20 €/day. The rental includes 2 liters of fuel.
