Description

Toivo's tupa is a nice, old renovated farmhouse, located on a green plot 500 meters from the lake Saimaa. Residents have their own hard-bottomed and slowly deepening sandy beach and a rowing boat. The beach also has a furnished terrace.

The house has a large terrace with a BBQ. There is plenty of space in the yard for play and games. There is also a wood-heated sauna, which is connected to a fireplace room and a dressing room. In summer, you can get water for the sauna from the well with a pump, but in winter you have to carry the water.

The house has a space of 100 m2. There is a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.

The spacious living room has a warm atmosphere of a traditional country house. There is a sofa that can be made into a bed for two, two comfortable armchairs and a fine old rocking chair, and a dining set for six. The room also has a large baking oven and a television.

The air heat pump in the living room can be used to cool the house if necessary.

The kitchen is well equipped. There is e.g. a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric stove, wood stove, coffee machine, kettle, whisk, etc.

Both bedrooms have two sleeping places, so totally there are sleeping places for six people if the sofa bed in the living room is also used. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two separate beds. Both bedrooms have fireplaces.

The bathroom/toilet has a washing machine.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house and pets are not allowed there.

Toivo's tupa is a perfect vacation spot for a family that appreciates rural life.

Near region description

The house is located in a quiet countryside 500 meters from the lake of Saimaa. You can also bring your own boat if you wish. It has a launching point (to be arranged separately). There are good berry and mushroom fields around the house. The distance to the nearest neighbor is about 100 meters, but in summer there is hardly any line of sight to the neighbor.

The distance to the center of Puumala is 45 km by road and 20 km by water.
